July 2006 - Clark responds to the "state of excitement"

On Friday 7th July the new Clark Equipment Brisbane Aftermarket Facility situated in Archerfield was officially opened by Mr. Chin Wah Ying, Vice President of Ingersoll Rand Construction & Compact Vehicle Technologies for the Asia Pacific sector who said "even with my 30 year association with Clark I still enjoy the feeling of excitement you get in Queensland. It is really a state going places."

The opening was celebrated by running an Open Day for dealers and customers to inspect the facility and the impressive range of equipment on display.

By the end of August, to complement this new service facility, a new sales and showroom facility, is due to open in Acacia Ridge. This will enable further expansion of Clark's Brisbane business unit.

"We recognise Queensland as one of our major growth areas, and this investment in the Aftermarket facility reflects our commitment to generate new and better business and to provide quality back up to our quality products" said Steve Goodall the Clark Equipment Northern Region Master State Distributor."
The Clark Equipment Group is a wholly Australian owned private company that is growing rapidly. In 2006 sales revenues increased by 18.5% to $192m on top of a 12% increase in 2005.

Speaking at the opening Robert Hammond the Clark Equipment Group Managing Director said, "our new aftermarket facility is based on a solid sixty year history in the equipment industry and is supported by great brands such as:

Jim Sedgman who will manage the facility said "with the objective of providing great service this facility has allowed us to stock a greater range of parts, access them quickly, store them optimally and keep inventory more accurately, whilst providing an environment that is both WorkSafe and attractive. Achieving this objective has been very much a team effort with valued input from staff from the planning stage right through to the finishing touches."
