19th June 2008 - Clark Equipment introduces
Bobcat compact tractor range

"Following on the outstanding success of
the Bobcat range of compact tractors on launch in the USA, we
are proud to introduce the first three of a nine-model line
the company plans to launch in 2008," said Robert Hammond
Managing Director of the Clark Equipment Group.
"The initial range of three tractors will
be the CT122, the CT225 and the CT230," said Cole Jones
General Manager of the Dakenasv division. "The CT122 has
a 22-horsepower engine and two-speed travel. The CT225 has a
27-horsepower diesel engine with three travel speeds. The CT225
is 141 cm wide with agricultural tyres 300 cm long and 243 cm
high with the ROPS deployed and weighs 1370 kg."
"The third model in the initial launch
is the Bobcat CT230. This 30-horsepower compact tractor also
has three-speed travel. The CT230 is 141 cm wide with agricultural
tyres 300 cm long and 243 cm high with the ROPS deployed and
weighs 1386 kg."
The compact tractors feature four-wheel drive
for travelling over and working in rough terrain and hydrostatic
transmissions and operator controls designed to be intuitive
for customers who have never driven a tractor. They are designed
to help farmers, hobby farmers, commercial landscapers, groundskeepers,
homeowners with acreage and other users tackle a variety of
tasks.
Cole Jones added, "The Bobcat compact tractors
can be used with the many Daken implements such as slashers
and finishing mowers, graders and rippers, post hole diggers,
and the combination bucket, as well as Tonutti hay rakes, Rondini
fertiliser spreaders, and Muratori mulchers."
The Bobcat tractors will be sold through the
Clark Equipment nationwide branches.
