November 2006 - Clark launches CEFIT to provide
the missing link in servicing the needs of customers
Clark
Equipment knows the equipment, from design and manufacture,
to sales, after-sales support and maintenance but what had been
missing was for Clark to supply the financial services and training
to go with it.
With the launch of the new CEFIT division, Clark Equipment
will now offer the Finance, Insurance and Training to provide
the "Complete Solution" to it's customers. Thus the
name CEFIT.
Announcing the launch of CEFIT, Peter Hammond Finance Director
of Clark Equipment said, "We have successfully negotiated
a panel of Banks, Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies,
leveraging off Clark Equipment's market position to secure special
rates and terms."
"Our partners have been selected on their ability to work
with us in tailoring finance, insurance and training products
based on the specific needs of our clients to support our commitment
to them."
Clark Equipment has internally appointed Ruth Frost to manage
the CEFIT operation. Ruth has many years experience in credit
management. After gaining a degree in Business Administration
in the UK, Ruth continued her career in credit control and finance
in the UK and then in Australia.
Having worked at Clark Equipment for several years, her internal
appointment to the CEFIT manager role is in accord with Clark
Equipment's policy of promoting talented people from within.
Ruth has the management skills to successfully direct the activities
of the Business Development Executives and foster the important
relationships between lenders, customers and salespeople.
Ruth Frost said, "I am very excited about the new role.
It's nice to be given a new challenge but still to be dealing
with the sales reps. and the customers. My first task was to
ensure that we have the right people as CEFIT BDE's - that they
are trained and experienced to discuss our customer's specific
circumstances in a confidential, professional manner. We now
have that structure in place, and it is terrific to be working
with an experienced and enthusiastic team."
"I am delighted with the high calibre of the people, with
their many years of equipment finance experience that we have
been able to attract as BDE's. It has really enabled CEFIT to
go for fast growth."
Mark Skinner has been appointed as the NSW BDE. He has 24 years
experience in finance including 14 years in the equipment finance
industry working for Orix and the Commonwealth Bank. Mike Polsen
is the Queensland BDE and has been in equipment finance with
major lenders including Esanda, Mercantile Credits and Orix
for over 30 years. Based in Victoria, Brendan Scroggie has been
appointed the BDE for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
Brendan has over 6 years experience in equipment finance with
major lenders including Esanda, ANZ, and Macquarie Leasing.
