May 2007 - Clark Equipment Receives Award for "Top Clark Forklift Dealer in Asia Pacific

At a function held on the 15th of May, at the new Clark Factory in Lexington, Kentucky, Clark Equipment Australia was presented with an award for the best international forklift dealer in the Asia Pacific.

Presenting the award in front of 180 delegates from Clark Dealers around the world, Mr James Song, President of Clark Materials Handling International, praised Clark Equipment Australia for their performance and effort.

Receiving the award, Mr Robert Hammond, Managing Director of Clark Equipment responded,"On behalf of all our staff I accept this award, kind words and recognition. Credit goes to not only our current team, but also those, like Greg Chapman, who have in the past laid a foundation for us in the Industry. The strength from the new Clark leadership is showing through with new products and opportunities to take us forward. The best is yet to come!"

Clark Materials Handling is continuing to grow their business around the world. A new Clark factory will be fully operational in China by the end of the year. The Lexington KY plant is now operational, building electric trucks. Additionally, Korea has increased production to satisfy demand.
