21st January 2008 - A day of firsts at the Dakenasv
Rutherford Open Day

At the Open Day held at Rutherford on Monday 12th November
David Standingford NSW Retail Manager said, "This is a
day of firsts for Clark Equipment. We are celebrating the launch
of the first Dakenasv store, our first entirely retail country
outlet. It is the first time that we are showing the products
from our new partners Karcher, Ausa All Terrain Vehicles and
Champion Motor Graders, as well as the new Bobcat Tractor range."
And the firsts kept coming. Sean Bifani - Bobcat Company Compact
Tractor Global Product Manager who cut the ribbon officially
opening the store, commenting that this was his first visit
to Australia. The first prize winner in the lucky business card
draw also happened to be the first customer of the Dakenasv
store and the first Bobcat tractor sold in Australia also happened
that morning.
The ASV in the name stands for Attachments and Special Vehicles
and the Rutherford store certainly stocks an amazing array of
equipment from leading world brands including Bobcat Tractors,
Loaders, Excavators and Telescopic Handlers; Bobcat Toolcats,
Utility Vehicles with 30 different attachments; Clark and Ausa
forklifts; Tonutti, Rondini and Maschio tractor implements;
Karcher high pressure water products and supplies; King Hitter
fencing posts drivers; Dakenag Equipment and Techfence electric
fencing.
Cole Jones General Manager of Dakenag said, "The Dakenasv
country store brings to rural industry a unique combination
of the right equipment for the right job. Equipment that increases
the efficiency and productivity of the land, with the service
and the training that makes it work, together with the finance
and support that makes it affordable. These specialist vehicles
and attachments will also improve the safety of rural industry."

products that Daken has always represented with the tools that
have grown productivity dramatically in the mini construction,
landscaping and recreational industries, but sold in a new way
to rural Australia."
Ken Pettit the Rutherford Manager said, "I am proud to
be managing the first Dakenasv country store here in the Hunter
Valley. We are bringing not only the latest product, backed
by the huge resources of the Australian owned Clark Equipment
Group in sales, finance, parts and aftermarket service but also
a unique way of serving our customers combined with a strong
sense of community involvement."
All present voted the Open Day a great success.
