June 2007 - Clark Wins Unprecedented Order For Eighteen Terberg 4x4 Tractors

Clark Equipment Australia's Heavy Equipment Division has won a record order for eighteen Heavy Duty Terberg Model RT282 4x4 Tractors to work on the Brisbane North South By-pass Tunnel Project. This is by far the largest order ever placed in Australia for 4x4 Tractors.

Little Brother to the giant 250 kW (335 HP) Terberg RT382's in operation at Toll Shipping, Multiserv and BIS, the RT282 is powered by a Mercedes OM906LA engine developing 205 kW (279 HP) driving through a ZF Transmission and Kessler Planetary Drive Axles Front and Rear.

The Terberg 4x4 Tractors will be responsible for hauling all the construction material into the tunnel and are a vital piece of equipment to ensure successful completion of the project. The 5.2 kilometre long tunnel will be constructed below the City and under the Brisbane River, and delivery of the Tractors will commence in November 2007.
